Combining our awesome technical skills, passion for digital and love of the festive season we have created an interactive Christmas game. You can play on your phone from outside our office. All you need to do is come down to 99 Holdenhurst Road with your mobile, play and hopefully win some prizes!

One Christmas game

3 French Hens is a modern twist on the classic one-arm bandit game. We have placed a screen in our prominent, street facing window displaying 3 tumblers, with your phone acting as the ‘play’ button.

So, how do you play?

  1. Make your way to the Createful office; don’t forget to bring your phone!
  2. Visit play.createful.com on your phone
  3. Enter your name and the code shown on the screen in the Createful window and press ‘Play!’
  4. Look up at the screen in the window to see your turn
  5. Match 3 pictures and you win a prize!

Three festive windows

We wanted to make sure as many people as possible knew about 3 French Hens. We didn’t want to give too much away, but decided to start drawing attention to our windows from the very beginning of December. Using imagery featured in the game, we created some eye-catching window vinyls with some help from our friends at local printing company, Bournemouth Colour Press (BCP).

Last year our Christmas window display created with post-it notes attracted a lot of attention; it was this success that inspired us to use the windows to create something fun and interactive this year.

One hundred postcards

Instead of Christmas cards, we’re sending out postcards featuring the adorable 3 French Hens, inviting our friends, passer by’s and clients to play the game. Along with some cryptic social media posts, we hoped to get the word out about 3 French Hens without giving too much away.

Sorry Toby, I couldn’t resist!

We are so excited to have our idea come to life, and hope you love it as much as we do. Get playing and good luck!
